The product is not working
- Did you turned on the on/off switch?
- Did you try ‘barking’ in the microphone?
- Make sure the microphone is not covered by the strap. (Deluxe: the strap covers the microphone)
- Is there a battery in the device? Is the battery on the right side (+/-)?
- Did you try changing the battery? (Alkaline battery: approx. 15 days, Lithium for Deluxe only: approx. 20 weeks).
- Did you fill the device?
Procedure:
A: Put device on a hard surface and empty the device with a pen or something similar, press down on the fill-up valve to empty the device completely.
B: ‘Blow’ in the microphone – Do you hear a click?
C: No click? – Make sure the microphone is not covered by the strap. Bang your device gently a few times on a table.
D. Blow again in the microphone. If you hear a clicking sound, your device is fixed. Fill the device (make sure to place it on a hard surface)
E. Still no click sound – Call Multivet Toll free Customer Service

Device does not stop the barking
- How old is the dog? – (If 8 years and over, it might take longer to train the dog.)
- We cannot guarantee the device in a case like this. Suggestion: Put the strap with the device on the dog for 4 to 5 days without turning it on or take out the batteries. After 4 to 5 days turn the device on or put in the batteries. The surprise effect usually works on the dog.
Barking does not activate the device - Is there enough spray in the device?
Did you try changing the Battery?
Device stopped functioning
- Redo the procedure above
- Did you drop the product in the water/ did dog swim with collar on? (Yes, no warranty)
- Did you dog chew on the device? (Yes, no warranty)
- If device still doesn’t work contact Multivet Customer Service.
Batteries do not last
- Did you turn the device off when you were not using the collar? (Alkaline battery: approx. 15 days. The batteries continue consuming even if the dog doesn’t bark.
